Visita al Centro Cultural Óscar Niemeyer

Last January 29 our students of the Bilingual Section made a tour in English of the Niemeyer Centre in Aviles, during which they analyzed the work of architect Oscar Niemeyer. After the tour, in space Educa Niemeyer, they built a city (‘New Mieres’) with big building blocks, an activity intended to improve their structural and spatial abilities and explore their imagination and creativity using different geometric shapes.

 

El pasado 29 de enero nuestros alumnos de la Sección Bilingüe realizaron una visita guiada en inglés al Centro Niemeyer de Avilés, durante la cual pudieron analizar la obra del arquitecto Óscar Niemeyer. Tras el recorrido, en el espacio Educa Niemeyer, ellos mismos construyeron una ciudad (Nuevo Mieres) con bloques de construcción, una actividad pensada para desarrollar su capacidad de comprensión estructural y espacial, así como para explorar su imaginación y creatividad utilizando diferentes formas geométricas.
